Ethan Cutkosky is the only child of David Cutkosky, a computer software developer, and Yvonne Cabrera Cutkosky, a teacher with Mexican ancestry. He attended Thompson Middle School and Bell Graham Elementary School, both located in Campton Hills, Illinois. Later, he continued his education at St. Charles East High School in St. Charles, Illinois.
