Jeffrey Thomas Lewis, more commonly known as Jeff Lewis, is a well-known American interior designer, real estate speculator, and television personality. With a successful career spanning several ventures, Lewis has earned a reputation for his expertise in interior design and real estate flipping. He is best known for his popular radio program, Jeff Lewis Live, and the reality series Flipping Out, which aired on Bravo channel.
Born on March 24, 1970, in California’s Orange County, Jeff Lewis grew up in a family with a real estate background. His father, Tom Lewis, is also an investor in the real estate industry. Sadly, his mother passed away. He attended Mater Dei High School and graduated in 1988. Subsequently, Lewis pursued higher education at Chapman University and the University of Southern California, where he pursued a double major in political science and pre-law.
Following his college graduation in 1993, Lewis embarked on a career in real estate by working as a licensed real estate salesperson in California. Over the years, he gained expertise in flipping houses, particularly in Los Angeles. Notably, in 2018, he offered a 4,300 square foot modern house for $7,995,000, which he later relisted in 2019 for $6,995,000. Besides his real estate ventures, Lewis founded his own architectural practice in 2009 and has been involved in creating various home-related products, such as paints, rugs, tiles, and doors.
