She furthered her education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Howard University in Washington, D.C.

Deborah started her professional journey as an elementary school teacher and continued in this role from 1990 to 2001. However, she eventually shifted her focus to politics and became an active member of the “Spirit of Freedom Republican Women” organization, which she led from 2012 to 2014.
