Edo State University (EDSU) stands as a prominent institution in Nigeria, situated in Uzairue, Edo State. If you’re eager to join their ranks and pursue your education, here’s a breakdown of the admission process for the upcoming academic year of 2023/2024.
Step 1: Prepare for UTME
To kick off your journey, you’ll need to sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Achieving a score higher than the minimum requirement of 140 will make you eligible to proceed.
Step 2: Apply for Post-UTME
Screening Once you’ve cleared the UTME hurdle, you can apply for the post-UTME screening. This process happens in two stages: a written examination and an oral interview.
Stage 1: Written Examination
The first stage involves a written test covering English Language, Mathematics, and Current Affairs. It’s a multiple-choice exam, and you’ll have two hours to complete it. This evaluation ensures you have a solid foundation in these subjects.
Stage 2: Oral Interview
If you successfully navigate the written exam, you’ll move on to the second stage—an oral interview. During this interview, your communication skills and suitability for your chosen program will be assessed.
